That took me to your pictures of your amazing camper truck. What a beauty - sort of reminds me of going camping in th early 50s in the Crosley my Mom and Dad used to pack us up in. Of course, that didn't have "bumpouts" so we slept in a tent.

When I got to your homepage, I found your father's story. Having seen the changes in the world since the 40s, I am amazed at what I took for granted when I was young. People did things, fixed things, built things. Your father was a terrific example of human ingenuity and "can do" attitude and, from the looks of your camper truck, he passed that along to you, also.

Pretty sad now, when "experts" are the only ones "qualified" to do anything interesting.

I especially loved the carb pictures - don't think I've ever seen any so CLEAN !! Posting all of this comment under this topic because I couldn't find a general place to post comments. Also appreciated the pics of how your camper truck was laid out.
